These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern sales made on the online store Le Jardin des Idées.

Le Jardin des Idées offers for sale, in particular, DIY kits and boxes, creative items, floral decorations, accessories, and small objects related to the world of flowers and plants.

The essential characteristics of the products are presented on each product page.

Photographs and illustrations are presented with the greatest care. Slight differences in color, shape, or appearance may exist for certain artisanal products or those composed of natural elements.

3. Price

The applicable prices are those displayed on the site at the time of the order.

Any delivery costs are indicated to the customer before the final validation of their order.

COLISSIMO home delivery is free on purchases of €69 or more.

Le Jardin des Idées reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, without affecting orders already validated.

4. Ordering

The customer selects the products they wish to purchase and adds them to their cart.

Before proceeding to payment, it is their responsibility to check the contents of their order as well as the information provided for delivery.

The order becomes final after validation of payment.

An order confirmation is then sent to the customer at the e-mail address provided during their purchase.

Welcome offer
The promotional code LJIBIENVENUE allows you to receive a 10% discount on the total of your first order placed on the Le Jardin des Idées store. This offer is reserved for customers who have not yet made any purchases on the store and is limited to one use per customer. It cannot be combined with other promotional codes or current discounts. The offer is valid as long as it is proposed on the site.

5. Payment

Payment for the order is made using the payment methods offered in the store at the time of purchase.

Transactions are carried out through the secure payment solutions available on the store.

Le Jardin des Idées does not retain the full banking details used during payment.

6. Preparation and shipping

We prepare each order with care and do our best to ship it within 48 business hours after validation of the order.

This timeframe corresponds to the preparation and shipping of the order and does not constitute the carrier's transit time.

Once the order has been shipped, the customer receives the tracking information available for their package.

7. Delivery

The delivery methods, estimated timeframes, and rates available are presented to the customer when ordering.

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided to ensure the proper delivery of their order.

8. Packaging

As part of a more eco-responsible approach, Le Jardin des Idées favors, as much as possible, the reuse of shipping cartons in good condition.

The package received may therefore have been used previously. However, each reused package is selected to ensure appropriate protection of the products during their transport.

9. Right of withdrawal

Subject to the exceptions provided by law, the consumer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the goods to exercise their right of withdrawal.

Customers wishing to exercise this right must inform Le Jardin des Idées of their decision within the applicable timeframe, notably by writing to:

After communicating their decision to withdraw, the customer must return the products within the applicable legal timeframe.

Items must be returned complete and in a condition allowing them to be resold. The customer may be held liable in the event of depreciation resulting from handling other than that necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and proper functioning of the product.

The direct return costs linked to exercising the right of withdrawal are to be borne by the customer.

Legal exceptions to the right of withdrawal remain applicable, particularly when the product has been made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized.

10. Refund

In the event of a valid exercise of the right of withdrawal, the refund is made in accordance with the timeframes and procedures provided by applicable regulations.

The refund is made using the same payment method as that used for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise for another method that does not generate costs for the customer.

The refund may be deferred until the goods are recovered or until the customer provides proof of their shipment, in accordance with applicable legal provisions.

11. Damaged product or order error

Despite the care taken in preparing packages, an incident may occur during transport.

In the event of a damaged or deteriorated item, or an error in the order, the customer is invited to contact Le Jardin des Idées as soon as possible, indicating their order number and attaching photographs of the package and the affected item(s).

We will examine the situation in order to provide an appropriate solution.

12. Legal guarantees

The consumer benefits from applicable legal guarantees, notably the legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee relating to hidden defects, under the conditions provided by French law.

These guarantees apply independently of any potential commercial warranty.

Personal data necessary for processing orders and customer relations is processed in accordance with applicable regulations.

15. Applicable law and disputes

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are subject to French law.

In case of difficulty, the customer is invited to contact Le Jardin des Idées first in order to seek an amicable solution.

The consumer may also use a consumer mediator free of charge, in accordance with applicable legal provisions.

The contact details of the competent consumer mediator will be communicated on the site in accordance with applicable obligations.

Failing an amicable resolution, the dispute may be brought before the competent jurisdiction under the conditions provided by law.

Article 15 – Consumer Mediation

In accordance with articles L.612-1 and following of the Consumer Code, in the event of a dispute that could not be resolved directly with Le Jardin des Idées, the consumer may use a consumer mediator free of charge.
